The merger will probably hurt the industry because first of all the company has already lost hundreds of millions of dollars in the past, so the merge isn't really going to help the industry at all. It would hurt the industry because the prices will be lower, so they would be making a little less money.


Will the merger hurt or help consumers?
The merger will help consumers because the consumers will have better prices for the stuff that they buy. It might not be as expensive.
